You have many options for funding your education at UCalgary.

Save

As a university student dealing with everything from classes, homework and exams, to health, relationships and extracurricular activities, you’ll have more than enough on your plate. The last thing you want is to have to worry about how to pay for it all.

Fortunately for you, stress isn’t your only option. International students entering an undergraduate degree program at the University of Calgary are eligible for significant awards and scholarships, including $15,000 International Entrance Scholarships (renewable over four years) and $10,000 Entrance Awards (non-renewable).

Applicants with an admission average of 95% or better are also automatically eligible to receive a President’s Admission Scholarship, valued at $5,000 CAD. International Baccalaureate Diploma students will also be considered for 20 additional awards, valued at $3,500 CAD each.

Use the filter on our online search tool to see which scholarships you may be eligible for.

Having trouble figuring out how much money you will need for school? Create an account or log in to our online cost estimator tool to help you determine the approximate fees based on your program, while taking into consideration the cost of residence and/or meal plans if you are considering living on campus.

If you’re interested in working while you attend school, our International Student Services office provides information on their website about working in Canada while on a study permit.
