Algonquin CollegeThe choices you make that affect your academic career are among the most important in your life. That’s why you need a Plan B — recognizing that there are many paths leading to the same goal.

Missed an application deadline? A high-demand program was filled up? You didn’t have sufficient resources to attend full-time this year? Many challenges can stand in your way of reaching your goals. That’s why you need to speak with an education institution that has helped redefine the term ‘learning options’, and provides alternative methods to help you reach your goal. Algonquin College can help.

For instance, take a look at GAP (Global Studies Program), an innovative option offering recent high school graduates the chance to gain life skills, and enjoy new experiences that lead to a better understanding of the world.

This one-year Ontario College Certificate program, delivered over twenty-six weeks, prepares you for a successful transition into the next stage of your education, and beyond. Algonquin College prides itself on offering a flexible approach to acquiring the skills you need for the job you want.

In addition to full-time on campus programs, consider:

•On-campus evening and weekend courses and programs
•Online part-time courses and programs
•Online full-time programs

Some full-time programs offer the first year of the program online and allow you to transfer to the full-time on-campus program in the second year. Others, such as the Business Administration program, allow you several learning options to choose from including part-time on campus, part-time online or full-time online.

In addition, part-time online options afford you the flexibility to catch up on, or fine tune, specific skills while you keep up with life's other commitments.

When you’re considering a Plan A or Plan B, consider Algonquin College — and stay flexible!
