FDU Vancouver Students Share Culture, Tradition and Ambition

FDU

FDU Vancouver students represent over 49 countries worldwide. As a campus we celebrate holidays such as Vaisakhi, GudiPadwa and Ugadi, just to name a few.

FDU Vancouver students are also involved in creating many other unique events such as Peace Day and Happiness Day that celebrate all cultures and positive ideals. We provide opportunities for our students to interact with and learn from presentations given by leaders and government officials. These are known as our Distinguished Speaker Series featuring local Counsel Generals as well as our United Nations Pathways Seminars.

What our students say about their campus life? Here are few more examples:

• “I volunteered at a community shoreline cleanup!”

• “I joined 1000 fellow youth from 130 different countries at the Sixth Education Without Borders conference in Dubai”.

• “I participated in the Model UN conference in New York”

Ambitious students who are interested in extracurricular activities can also participate in our:

• Student Government

• Sports teams (soccer, cricket, basketball)

• Local volunteer initiatives

• Rotary Events and much more!

“One of the characteristics that really stands out with FDU Vancouver students is that they are actively involved in campus events, in their community or in international events around the world” you can quote me if you want.
