50 Years of ‘Awesome’ at Red Deer College

As we celebrate our 50th Anniversary at Red Deer College, we’re reflecting on an incredible journey to this point, but we’re also looking forward to an exciting future. As we’ve grown over the years, our awesome student life on campus has been a constant throughout.

Students love the campus life at RDC for many reasons. It’s a great social atmosphere! Our Campus Rec Team plans events all year, from intramural sports to parties and campus-wide activities along with other special events. The team is dedicated to making your time at RDC memorable.

The skills of our talented students are often on display as well. Our strong Athletics programs, Performing Arts performances, and our variety of student groups offer plenty of exciting events and activities to enjoy throughout the school year. Our active Students’ Association is always looking out for you, keeping you informed and putting on great events.

There’s plenty of fun to be had, but of course your time here will involve important school work as well. At RDC, you won’t get lost in the shuffle. Dedicated staff are available on campus offering a wide variety of services, from stress management to job search and resume workshops, a learning support centre and much more. These free services at our campus offer whatever level of support you require for a positive learning experience.

Our campus is located on the beautiful rolling foothills of Alberta and is connected to Red Deer’s incredible trail system. Our Train Station is a great place to work out and our gyms, racquetball courts and dance studios are great places to stay fit.
