Your education is an investment of time, your attention, and your money. A university education is one of the best investments you may ever make, but sometimes it can be hard to find that money at the beginning… Scholarships, bursaries, and awards at the University of Regina are there to help you focus on your education. Last year, the U of R awarded 6,150 scholarships worth nearly $5½ million! Here’s some advice on how to get started:

Awards come in all shapes and sizes.
While some scholarships are based on stellar grades, many awards are based on financial need, community involvement, student diversity, and unique situations. They're designed to help you succeed in school, so you should apply whether you have a 75% or 95% average!

Take it seriously.
This is your future we're talking about. Scholarship applications may ask about financial need, volunteer experience, or essay-style questions. Write your answers thoughtfully and ask a teacher, parent, or friend to proofread your answers or offer advice. You want to put your best foot forward!

It's easy to apply.
Our scholarship application is completely web-based. Create an account, browse and add awards, apply and check your status any time from virtually anywhere in the world. It only takes a few minutes to get started.
