Doing an Internship at Tyndale Can Take You Places

What places? That all depends on where you want to go.

Tyndale offers unique and practical opportunities to gain valuable experience in your field. As an undergraduate Christian university, Tyndale prepares women and men to think critically, serve faithfully and live passionately in the world.

Academics are important. And Tyndale has great programs where you can develop the knowledge and skills to be a professional practitioner in your work or ministry. But the ‘Tyndale difference’ is that our undergraduate students have opportunities to gain the practical experience not normally offered in other universities.

Take for instance the Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Psychology. The experience undergraduates receive from volunteering at Tyndale’s Research in Autism and Community Education (TRACE) camp gives them a competitive edge because the research they are doing provides unique opportunities to contribute to the field of Behavioural Analysis and even to present their research internationally.

Integral to Tyndale’s BA in Business Administration-International Development program is an internship students can do with an international development agency. This gives you the experience needed to fully understand the realities of the field while being mentored by people already effecting change in the world. You will have the opportunity to take what you’ve learned in the classroom and apply it directly to the issues you will face in your future career in international development. Students in this program do a four month internship in countries around the world, such as Senegal, Lebanon, Rwanda, and many others.

Internships at Tyndale can take you places. Whether that place is a job or literally a place in the world, Tyndale can help you get there.
