The University of Waterloo’s Centre for Career Action provides Waterloo students with a number of resources and guides to help them prepare their résumés, sharpen their interview skills, and ensure that their work experiences are as beneficial as possible.

So you’ve found the job you want to have. It has everything you’re looking for, hooray! The next step is to apply for the job.

The key to getting an interview is presenting yourself in a professional and engaging way to your potential employer through a well-written résumé and cover letter.
