|Description:||Ph.D. graduates have the knowledge, analytical tools, and writing skills to occupy a range of challenging professional positions in education, law and journalism, at various levels of government and in research in the private and public sectors.
Historical and geographical fields cover the globe for more than two thousand years but emphasize periods from medieval to modern times. Temporal and thematic fields include colonial and post-colonial history, the history of peace and war, gender, film, and environmental history.
