Program faculty are chosen for their expertise and experience in international marketing and marketing management, and may continue to work in the industry. The regular profile covers major marketing specialties like product development, advertising, promotion, public relations and research. A 15-day field placement gives students hands-on experience. Skills learned are suitable for advertising agencies and domestic product and service marketers. Professional associations, such as the Canadian Marketing Association (CMA), are connected with many of the specialized areas of marketing, and offer a broad base of information, awareness and advice to students.
