Prerequisites Notes | There is no direct entry from high school into the Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy program. Students must first complete a year of university and take courses in English, Biology, Inorganic Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Mathematics and Statistics. In addition students need to write a letter of intent, stating their career goals, knowledge of the profession, related experience and reasons for applying. Admission to the program is competitive based on a student's performance in the required courses, their letter of intent and their overall academic record.

Description | In pursuing the BSc in Pharmacy, you move towards becoming eligible for a license to practice as a pharmacist. Subjects studied in pharmacy include the pharmaceutical sciences (pharmaceutics), pharmacokinetics, pharmacology, pharmacy practice, etc. Students gain experience through a coordinated experiential program in clinical and research work, as well as opportunities for international exchanges. A BSc (Pharm) degree takes four years, full-time to complete. This does not include the required pre-professional study. | | |
