This intensive program equips students with the knowledge and skills needed to respond to dynamic challenges in technology-based, global environments and succeed in the ever-growing field of software and web development. With emphasis on digital thinking and innovation, students will design, develop, and implement applications, diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, and manage and operate databases. Through applied learning and project management opportunities, students will develop proficiency in communication, collaboration, and inclusive approaches to work in diverse settings. .

Our accelerated Computer Programming Diploma program makes it possible for students to complete a 2 year-program in 18 consecutive months. With emphasis on digital thinking and innovation, students will design, develop, and implement applications, diagnose and troubleshoot technical problems, and manage and operate databases.

Earn your Red Deer Polytechnic Diploma at Robertson College
Robertson College has partnered with Red Deer Polytechnic for the ultimate experience for international students.
Admission Requirements
Minimum of 50% in Math 30-1 and English 30-1, or minimum of 60% in Math 30-2 and English 30-2 or equivalent.

Students will be required to obtain a laptop for completing course requirements.

English Language Requirements

Applicants whose first language is not English must demonstrate English language proficiency in addition to the program admission requirements. All English Language Proficiency tests must have been obtained within two years of the start date of the program. Approved tests are: IELTS academic, TOEFL, Duolingo, PTE, CAEL and MET.
