A Faculty of Arts student with sufficiently high grades may choose to take an honors degree instead of the general (AR 20) B.A. degree. Success in an honors program accelerates entry into graduate and professional work in the area of specialization. It is a good career investment as well as providing a challenging undergraduate experience. Each department of the Faculty of Arts offers its own honors program. Combined programs such as Economics and Math, Economics and Political Science, Economics and a foreign language, etc. are also available.
