Description:Physiology is the study of how body systems work. Physiologists investigate everything from the interaction of individual molecules to how intact organisms function. Understanding cell and system physiology holds the key to discovering new ways of preventing and curing disease. Research in the department focuses on: ion channels and transporters, gene transcription, signal transduction, nuclear transport, synapse formation, nerve regeneration, neuroscience, immunology, and biomathematics of physiological systems.   •  Grade12 English  or  Grade12 Français 
  • 2 of  Grade12 Physics  or  Grade12 Biology  or  Grade12 Chemistry 
  •  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors  or  Grade12 Mathematics 
All admissions to the Honours program will be in U2, and the student must have a U1 GPA of 3.30, with no less than a B in PHGY 209 and PHGY 210. Admission to U3 requires a U2 CGPA of 3.20 with no less than a B in U2 Physiology courses. Decisions for admission to U3 will be heavily influenced by student standing in U2 courses.

  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 577] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 90]
