| Description: |
The Community Design program is for students who want to build and maintain healthy, safe and livable communities and do so with an overall respect for the environment. Community Design, one of Dalhousie's newest programs, examines design as a way to understand, analyse and resolve problems and bring about change. The program has an interdisciplinary focus, drawing on expertise in environmental science, environmental studies, urban history, policy management and more. In this program, you'll develop the knowledge and practical skills to assess community issues and actively influence how communities develop.
