Digital Media is a specialization within UOIT's Computing Science program. Individuals interested in studying this specialization will apply directly to Digital Media through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) using application code DSO.
The curriculum builds on the current BSc in Computing Science and extends to cover the use of sound, images, graphics and video in interactive computer applications. The application areas covered by this specialization include computer games, educational software, mobile devices, marketing and advertising and location based services.

Grade 12 English
Grade 12 Advanced Functions
2 of: Grade 12 Biology or Grade 12 Chemistry or Grade 12 Physics or Grade 12 Calculus and Vectors
Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or mature student status with a minimum overall average of 70 per cent on six 4U or 4M credits including English (ENG4U), Advanced Functions (MHF4U) and two of Calculus and Vectors (MCV4U), Biology (SBI4U), Chemistry (SCH4U) or Physics (SPH4U), as well as a combined minimum average of 70 per cent in math and science courses. It is recommended that all four of MCV4U, SBI4U, SCH4U and SPH4U be taken.
