Requirements for Canadian Students
To be eligible for admission, the applicant must have:
1) Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) or equivalent. Applicants with an OSSD showing senior English and/or mathematics courses at the Basic Level, or with Workplace or Open courses, will be tested to determine their eligibility for admission; OR

2) Academic and Career Entrance (ACE) certificate; OR

3) General Educational Development (GED) certificate; OR

4) Mature Student status (19 years of age or older and without a high school diploma at the start of the program). Eligibility may be determined by academic achievement testing for which a fee of $40 (subject to change) will be charged.

The majority of full-time programs also have additional specific admission requirements such as academic prerequisites, attendance at an information session, submission of a portfolio, or completion of an essay, questionnaire, and/or entry testing.

Note: Some over subscribed programs have residency restrictions. Please contact the Registrar's Office at (613) 727-0002 for details.

Requirements for International Students
Please send original secondary school transcripts along with college or university transcripts, which will support your request for admission to the program of your choice.

Documents must be officially translated into English.

Some programs may require proficiency in mathematics or sciences and some may require submission of a portfolio.

Provide proof of English language ability (TOEFL 213 CBT, 80 iBT, or equivalent). If a TOEFL result is unavailable, you may be required to apply to the English as a Second Language program to upgrade your language skills.

Procedure for Canadian Students
Students should submit a completed application and transcript to Ontario College Application Services (OCAS) at www.ontariocolleges.ca. The application service will send your application to the colleges you have chosen. You may be asked to complete questionnaires, provide portfolios, attend interviews, and/or take part in testing or information sessions. The application processing fee is $95.00. The application fee is payable to OCAS. The preferential deadline for full-time diploma programs beginning in September is February 1.

Procedure for International Students
International students should submit the International Student Application Form and all supporting documents as early as possible allowing approximately two to three months to apply for a study permit.
