York is a highly selective university attracting top scholars from around the world. It is critical to meet minimum grade and course requirements, however, this does not guarantee admission. Procedure for Canadian Students
Ontario high school students apply through the Ontario Universities' Application Centre (OUAC) website. All other applicants may obtain an application from either:
1. Ontario Universities' Application Centre, 170 Research Lane, Guelph, Ontario, N1G 5E2, (519) 823-1940.
2. York Office of Admissions.

Students in all faculties, schools, and colleges can start their studies in September for the fall/winter session. For students in the Faculty of Science and Engineering, and the Faculty of Graduate Studies, May (summer session) offers an additional entry point. Students interested in the Faculty of Arts may begin their studies in January (winter session, first year only). Atkinson Faculty of Liberal and Professional Students can start in September (fall session) and May or July (summer session).
