Balmoral Hall School
630 Westminster Avenue
Winnipeg, Manitoba   R3C 3S1

Balmoral Hall School, situated on 12 acres along the historic Assiniboine River, has established itself as one of Canada's leading girls' schools with exceptionally high academic and co-curricular program success. BH has brought together the finest teachers and coaches to ensure that our students are well prepared to take their place in the global arena. Dedicated to the development of young women for academic, social, and leadership success in a challenging world, BH graduates are fully prepared for entrance into university. 98% of graduates attend the university or college of their choice in North America and other parts of the world.

The fundamental goal of a Balmoral Hall education is to challenge students to develop their intellectual, athletic, social, and artistic potential. This is accomplished with a teaching staff that delivers a rigorous curriculum and guides students' learning. Each student's performance is regularly evaluated with internal and external tests, projects, written assignments, progress reports, and formal examinations (held twice during the year). With an average student teacher ratio of 10:1, teachers can closely supervise and guide the progress of each student.

Balmoral Hall is an IB World School and an accredited member of the International Baccalaureate Organization, Manitoba Education and Training (Manitoba Government), the Manitoba Federation of Independent Schools (MFIS), the Canadian Association of Independent Schools (CAIS), and the Canadian Educational Standards Institute (CESI). Balmoral Hall is also a member of the American organizations, Federation of Independent Schools, The Association of Boarding Schools (TABS), The National Coalition of Girls' Schools (NCGS), and is an associated member of the National Association of Independent Schools (NAIS).
