This program is for students with a science background from Cegep or high school, the program allows greater concentration on the biogeophysical environment, while maintaining a strong grounding in human interventions, policy and management. This Major program is designed for students with a strong interest in the environment and geography who do not intend to pursue a research career or go on to graduate school.

Quebec CEGEPS applicants must have completion of a two-year pre-university program or a three-year professional DEC (Diplôme d'études collégiales). For students from other provinces, Concordia requires a high school diploma and between four and five Grade 12 subjects.
