Saskatchewan Polytechnic's Business human resources specialty provides the broad-based training you need to work in any sector.

This human resources specialty is available on campus in Moose Jaw or through flexible learning options (online and evening). You'll focus on in-depth training in the application of business management practices to employment situations, employee engagement, compensation and benefits, labour and employee relations, organizational effectiveness and behavior, recruitment and selection, training and development, and workplace wellness.

Admission Requirements

Prerequisites:*These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school.
  •  Grade12 Mathematics  or  Grade12 Advanced Functions  or  Grade12 Calculus and Vectors 
Applicants are required to have: Grade 12 or successful completion of three (3) courses, of at least 3 credit units each, from Year 1 of this program (Business Certificate).
Test Scores:
  • Test of English as a Foreign Language (Internet Based) [min. 81] or International English Language Testing System (academic or immigration) [min. 6.5] or Canadian Academic English Language Assessment [min. 60] or Test of English as a Foreign Language (Paper Based) [min. 550] or CanTEST [min. 4.5]
