| Description: | The Intensive English Term Format is primarily academic-based and aims to improve students' English for university study. Full-time language studies incorporate class time, assignments, tutorials and advising delivered in a virtual learning format. Classes will be scheduled in both virtual face-to-face classes and coursework that is guided and worked on independently.
This course will help you to:
- Develop sociolinguistic skills required in a Canadian academic setting
- Improve skills of organization, research, and presentation
- Participate in seminar-style discussions to increase critical listening skills and oral clarity
- Increase accuracy in grammar and vocabulary usage
