Description: | A four-year major will give the added advantage of at least 6 more courses in the area of Mathematics and the opportunity to take more upper â€"level theoretical mathematics including Chaos Theory. More general elective space means that the students can readily include a minor in a second field of interest. Furthermore, the four-year major in Mathematics can provide the basis from which to apply for admission to M.A. programs in Mathematics. The four-year degree is becoming the standard undergraduate expectation across North America.
