Description:This degree reimagines what nursing education should be, helping you understand the valuable roles that both Registered Practical Nurses (RPNs) and Registered Nurses (RNs) play in our health-care system. You'll first learn entry-to-practice competencies required of both RPNs and RNs, then build on that knowledge to master advanced competencies RNs need to care for unstable and complex patients.

Ontario Secondary School Diploma or equivalent, including these required courses:

  • English, Grade 12 (ENG4U)
  • Biology, Grade 12 (U) (SBI4U or equivalent)
  • Math, Grade 12 (U) (MDM4U, MCV4U, MHF4U or equivalent)
  • Chemistry, Grade 12 (U) (SCH4U or equivalent)
  • Two additional Grade 12 credits at the U or M level
  • Minimum 75% overall average

or

  • Two semesters of postsecondary education including required English (ENG4U or equivalent) and all required courses listed above with a minimum 75% overall average.
