Description: | The Master of Science (MSc) in Electrical and Computer Engineering program incorporates coursework and a research project which is supervised by a member of the department. Many students find that the additional qualification boosts their career trajectory, while for others it is a pathway to further research and the PhD degree. The Master of Engineering (MEng) is a terminal degree that combines coursework and an engineering project and does not provide access to a PhD program. |

Prerequisites:* | These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. MEng students must complete a minimum of 24 credit hours of coursework, including a minimum of 9 credit hours at or above the 7000 level from the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering and an advisor-approved engineering project and proposal. The effort involved in this project should be at least the equivalent of 6 credit hours of coursework. |
