Interior Designers conceptualize and produce aesthetic, functional and safe designs for interior spaces in residential, commercial, cultural, institutional and industrial buildings. Computers are used to aid in drafting, color matching and final product visualization.
This program prepares students to conceptualize and produce aesthetic, functional and safe designs for interior spaces in residential, commercial, cultural, institutional and industrial buildings. Areas of study include: interior design and decoration, color, space planning, CAD of interior designs and decorators, textiles and interior materials, furniture and accessories, lighting and commercial and residential perspectives and renders. Note: this program is offered in both English and French—as well as in Flex-Ed format—and includes an eight week-long internship. Herzing College offers a $7000 scholarship for this program to eligible Canadian students.
