Our two-year MSc program offers research opportunities that help develop advanced laboratory and field skills using the institute’s multi-disciplinary approach. Students can register in courses and seminars designed to guide them in their research efforts. Additionally, our program leads to the completion of a thesis defense and work submitted for publication at its conclusion

Students applying to this graduate program are required to have at least a B+ average in their last two years of study in an undergraduate degree in a related field (biology, chemistry, earth sciences). In addition, students must provide letters of recommendation (2), a Statement of Research Interests (500 words), and evidence of research experience. Prospective students are also strongly encouraged to collaborate with a prospective GLIER supervisor prior to application. |
