Description: | The Department of French, Literature, and Culture offers a programme that focuses on French literature in the francophone world and other aspects of French, literature, and culture such as civilization and language (linguistics and stylistics). The department offers a Bachelor of Arts Honours (B.A. Honours) and a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.). French is the only working language within the department. Most courses may be taken by all students possessing the required knowledge and ability. The final decision on eligibility will be made by the course instructor, with the approval of the Department Head.

- Grade11 Advanced Functions or Grade11 Functions and Relations
Applicants must have completed high school university preparatory courses in the following subjects: English or French at the grade 12 level, and Mathematics - Functions (calculus is recommended) at the grade 11 level. All students admitted to Arts will be required to complete university courses in math, chemistry and physics (specifically designed for Arts students) and are encouraged to have taken chemistry and physics university preparatory courses at the grade 11 level. Students must also offer a minimum course mark of 75% for each of the required courses and have an overall average of 75% on the best 6 courses completed in grade 12 including the required courses. |
