To be eligible to participate in the Canadian Resident Matching Service you must be either a medical student or graduate having obtained or obtaining a medical degree by July 1 from a Liaison Committee on Medical Education / Committee on Accreditation on Canadian Medical Schools (LCME/CACMS) accredited school, a school of osteopathic medicine or an international medical school.
Specific requirements include an academic record which demonstrates special proficiency, a proven interest in those subjects related to anatomic pathology, a proven interest in anatomic pathology, and an interest and proven experience in research, both clinical and basic science. |
Additional Admission Requirements: | All selection to the residency program is through the Canadian Resident Matching Service (CaRMS). The program is especially interested in selecting candidates with: an academic record which demonstrates special proficiency; a proven interest in those subjects related to anatomic pathology; a proven interest in anatomic pathology. This can be demonstrated by electives in the specialty or related fields; and an interest and proven experience in research, both clinical and basic science.
