Description: | The Division of Community Health and Humanities offers comprehensive graduate programs leading to a Diploma in Community Health, Master of Science and Doctor of Philosophy degrees. Faculty interests include community health, epidemiology, socio-behavioural health, biostatistics, health services utilization, health policy, and health promotion.
Participants in the program develop strong research skills and gain knowledge through core courses and research seminars. A visiting speaker program provides an opportunity for scientific exchange with researchers from other institutions across Canada and elsewhere. There is also a strong journal club organized by the graduate students. Students are required to write a thesis in an area relevant to Community Health under the supervision of their supervisor. The thesis must answer an original research question. |
