| Description: | The English for Academic Purposes (EAP) program at Kanata College is designed to present international students with strategies and skills required to meet the increasing demands of academic study. Program content reflects the reality of academic work that students experience in university programs. The EAP program models attending lectures, note-taking, reading academic texts from a variety of genres, learning study skills, writing with an emphasis on essay construction, participating in high-interest topic discussions and public speaking. |
