Description: | This one-year certificate program utilizes current technology, modern equipment and tools and has a strong focus on eco-friendly building products and construction materials. Graduates will possess significant experience working in the 6,500 sq. ft. shop (located in the Lambton College Skilled Trades Training Centre) as well as in an 1,800 sq. ft. teaching house where students participate in renovation and residential construction scenarios relevant to residential and light commercial construction. |

Mature applicants must be at least 19 years of age by the start of classes, be out of secondary school for at least one year and usually do not have a high school diploma. Mature applicant assessment for this program is available in the Counselling Department in the subject of English. The assessment(s) will demonstrate proficiency in required admission subjects.
