Description:No need to look elsewhere! We offer an Honours Bachelor's degree program and a Major in English or French as a Second Language. These multidisciplinary undergraduate programs are offered jointly by the Faculty of Education and the Faculty of Arts, through the Official Languages and Bilingualism Institute (OLBI). Courses cover the theories of language acquisition, as well as second language learning and teaching and explore the interrelationships between language, culture and society.

What's more, upon graduation, if you want to work as a second language teacher and you meet the admission requirements of the Faculty of Education, a limited number of places are reserved for you in our Teacher Education (BEd) program. Several graduate program options are also available.
