Description: | Philosophy is used to clarify and interpret important concepts such as truth, God, mortality, beauty, knowledge and reality. These concepts play an important role in our self-understanding and our interpretation of the world. McMaster offers a stand-alone two year M.A. Program. The mix of graduate courses and thesis research and writing is designed to prepare students for more advanced philosophical studies or for a professional career outside academia.
