Description: | The Sports Studies program provides an intensive study of sport and exercise in society. It’s designed to encourage students to adopt an interdisciplinary perspective that gathers together the individual, local, national and international dimensions of sport and exercise. Consequently, it exposes students to the social, biological, political, business and economic aspects of sport in sport in society. It also provides opportunities for practical experiences. Concentration: Athletic Development, Business and Society, or Health & Exercise. |
Cost per year:* | Cost estimate is per 30 credits. Please note that a "typical" course will be worth 3 credits and that most students will take 5 courses per semester for a total of 30 credits over one academic year (September to April). Bishop's also offers a condensed Spring session (May and June). |
