Prerequisites:* | These courses are intended as guidelines. Speak to your guidance counsellor to see what courses are offered at your school. Applicants are required to have completed an undergraduate degree at a recognized educational institution, or equivalent; AND all students applying to the Applied Planning Program must have a level of English sufficient to write assignments, read and understand course material, complete assessments and take part in class discussion. Applicants are also required to have one post-secondary course in Statistics.

Application Notes : | Students will be required to provide proof of English language proficiency in one of the following ways: successful completion of a post-secondary English or Communications course for which Langara offers university-transfer credit OR "S" in ENGL 1107, 1108, 1110, or minimum "C" grade in ENGL 1120, at Langara College; LPI (Language Proficiency Index) with a minimum of 26 on the essay and one of 5 in English usage, 5 in sentence structure or 10 in reading comprehension; LET (Langara English Test) level 3 or better; TOEFL - internet-based (IBT) score of 80, with a minimum of 20 in Reading and Writing and 18 in Speaking and Listening; TOEFL - paper-based 550 with TWE 4.0; IELTS - International Language Testing System - minimum level 6.5 with a minimum of 6.0 in listening and speaking; CAEL 60 overall with essay 60; or LEAP 8 completion. |
