Description:Mount Allison’s Canadian studies program is one of the oldest in the country. The program explores Canadian issues and realities, such as the country’s vast and varied geography, regional distinctions, history and politics, public policy, culture, economy, the environment, Indigenous peoples, bilingualism, and multiculturalism. Canadian studies courses at Mount Allison address some of the most pressing topics in contemporary society: diversity, community, cultural literacy, and national identities.

To be considered for admission, a minimum final grade of 65% or the equivalent is required in all university-preparatory courses reviewed. English 122/121 (FRAN 10411/10421/11411) and a minimum of four additional grade 12 university-preparatory electives are also required.
