Description | Be inspired by internationally recognized scholars in our intimate and congenial department. Our faculty members are teachers, mentors, and evaluators, here to guide you in your academic pursuits. Students may find opportunities for cross-disciplinary work with related fields, including religious studies and history. We work to prepare students to be effective and inspiring teachers and insightful professional scholars by offering the opportunities, support, and resources to achieve these goals. The department maintains a reference library and database on Greek and Roman studies. The Nickle Collection of some 15,000 ancient coins is available for study in the university’s Nickle Arts Museum.
