Prerequisites NotesPlease note that this is a second-entry program. This means you have to complete an undergraduate degree before starting. Applications to the JD/Geology or Geophysics - MSc combined program must be submitted to both programs separately. This can be done in one of two ways. In either case, you must indicate in both applications your intention to pursue the combined-degree program: 1. Apply to both programs separately by the deadlines established by the Faculty of Law (November 1 for Fall admission) and the MSc Geology or MSc Geophysics program. The application to the JD program is available at the Ontario Law School Application Service website. OR 2. After beginning first-year Law, apply to the MSc Geology or MSc Geophysics program by the deadline established by the Department of Earth Sciences. DescriptionThis combined program is a three-year program leading to a Juris Doctor (JD) degree and a Master of Science (MSc) in Geology or Geophysics. You'll start your degree in the Faculty of Law at Western and follow the normal curriculum for Year 1. In Year 2-3, you’ll be registered in the combined program and complete a combination of Law and Geology or Geophysics requirements.
