DescriptionYou don't need to choose between the disciplines of mathematics and statistics in the School of Mathematical and Statistical Sciences at Western. This combined program will allow you to explore theoretical concepts and implement that knowledge in a practical way. You'll get a solid background in mathematical concepts as well as experience with statistical tools and mathematical modelling. If you study mathematics and statistical sciences at Western, you'll be prepared for a career in any discipline that depends on mathematical and logical models, such as IT, banking or finance.
