DescriptionClimate change? Try climate emergency. The science and politics of climate are controversial and they’re only part of what you’ll study in Geography and Environment, along with global systems, biodiversity, cities, energy, food and agriculture, and more. Geography seeks to understand the world in which we live through a broad understanding of people, places and the physical environment. In this program, you'll combine social and natural sciences with the application of geographic technology. You'll learn how to use modern mapping and analytical tools like satellite navigation and Geographic Information Systems (GIS). You will explore the physical science of geography, as well as train in techniques such as GIS and remote sensing.

You can complete this program as a 4-year Honours Bachelor degree with a Double Major or a 3-year Bachelor degree. Registration in the honours degree usually begins in the second year, but admission may be gained in the third or fourth year provided you meet requirements.
