Description | Systematic issues of injustice, poverty, inequality and conflict are increasingly apparent in our world today. How can you make a difference? Redeemer's International Development program focuses on a holistic and sustainable transformation of communities through aid and global development. By considering global issues from the perspectives of history, business, economics, literature, and philosophy give students an interdisciplinary approach to problem-solving, making solid and data-driven arguments, and analyzing systems with empathy and creativity.
Right from the start, small class sizes allow for meaningful class discussion, lead by professors who are actively researching and experienced practitioners in the field. First-year courses approach topics of history, politics, and international studies in a way that is both broad and deep, giving an overview of the people, organizations, and policies that are currently working towards bettering our world.
International Development is a Bachelor of Arts degree program. It is offered as an honours major. | | |
