Prerequisites NotesMust have completed 60 credit units (or equivalent) by April 30 of the year admission is desired. The coursework must include 24 credit units taken in at least one academic year (September to April). The following courses (or equivalent) are required in the 60 credit units:

- Biology : 6 credit units

- Chemistry : 3 credit units General and 6 credit units Organic

- English : 6 credit units

- Biochemistry : 3 credit units Biomolecules and 3 credit units Metabolism

- Physiology : 6 credit units

- Mathematics (Calculus) : 3 credit units

- Statistics : 3 credit units

- Microbiology : 3 credit units

- Nutrition : 3 credit units

- Electives : 15 credit units : 6 credit units from psychology, sociology, native studies, or philosophy; and 9 credit units any electives

DescriptionYou will study how new drugs discovered, why some people react differently to some drugs, how drugs work in the body and how various factors can impact it's effectiveness or safeness. You will learn how to fill medical prescriptions, educate patients about their medications and answer a wide range of questions as well as provide diet, exercise, and other health information that does not involve prescription medication.
