DescriptionBe captivated by music as you cultivate your talent and develop your skills. Music plays an important role in our worship and service to God and his church. Redeemer's Music Performance program provides the biblical, historical, and theoretical context of music through composition, performance, theory, and history under the guidance of experienced, practicing musicians.

Right from the start, your classes and dedicated faculty help you build a strong foundation in theory and aural skills. Opportunities for group discussion, in-class practice, and access to space and instruments help you gain confidence and deepen your appreciation for music. Between applied music lessons, ensemble, performance, written compositions, and classroom lectures, you are putting everything you're learning into practice.

Music Performance is a Bachelor of Arts degree program. It is offered as a major and as a minor.
