Description | The Building Engineering Technology program is designed to train students in the analysis, design, drawing, detailing, and presentation of commercial building projects. The first year of training covers engineering technology basics such as engineering science, materials technology, surveying, and computer-aided drafting. Many courses are common with other technology programs and may be used for credit transfer. In the second year, students specialize in subjects that relate more specifically to building engineering.
