Description | Humber's Paralegal Education diploma program explores the theoretical, procedural and advocacy aspects of law that may be handled by a paralegal licensed by the Law Society of Ontario. You will learn specialized practical skills within the areas of advocacy, legal research, specific courts and administrative tribunals. The course of studies includes business, small claims court matters, criminal summary convictions, provincial offences, landlord and tenant (among a plethora of other boards and tribunals), employment law, and alternative dispute resolution. Students will develop strong oral advocacy skills by participating in class and in role plays, as well as in presentations and mock trials. | | |
