Description | The Master of Computer Science offers both a thesis stream (Master of Computer Science, MCS) and a project-based stream (Master of Applied Computer Science, MACS). The project-based stream is intended primarily for students with degrees in other disciplines who wish to switch to a computer science / software engineering career in industry.
Project-based stream (MACS): The one-year project Master requires 8 graduate courses in Computer Science and a project. Two of the eight graduate courses can be replaced by graduate courses from another Faculty (approval required). The two-year project Master requires a list of specified undergraduate courses, graduate courses and a project. Graduate courses must fulfill the breadth requirement. The project report is submitted in writing and must be presented in a seminar forum before its approval by the supervisor and another faculty member. | | |
