Prerequisites Notes | Applicants must have a Diploma of Secondary Studies (DES) or equivalent, including Secondary V Language of Instruction, Secondary V Second Language, Secondary IV Science, Secondary IV Mathematics (Cultural, Social & Technical option 563-404/414), Secondary IV History, and Sec IV Science & Technology or Applied Science & Technology 555-404/444 or 557-406/416. Students with a DES missing any of the above subjects may be admitted, space permitting, but may be required to complete remedial courses.

Cost | All returning students are required to pay their regular student fees ($164) in full by June 7, 2017 before registering for their courses. New students are required to pay the $164 in full by June 30, 2017 before they register. Payments may be made in full before registration by cash, debit card, Visa, MasterCard, money order or cheque. Post dated cheques will not be accepted. Any remaining fees (non-resident of Quebec, convocation fees, part time in-program fees, etc…) will be assessed by August 22 and due by September 8, 2017. Late payment fees of $25.00 will be applied to overdue accounts.

Description | The Industrial Design Program focuses on product design development, sketching and 3D modelling. As a student, you will create your own designs and produce technical drawings followed by the building of actual models of consumer products. The program will encourage you to use your creativity and curiosity to develop new sustainable product designs to meet the needs of consumers. You will develop the skills necessary to work as part of a multidisciplinary team of professionals in an exciting career that evolves constantly. | | |
