Description | The Church Ministries program aims to equip students with the necessary skills for effective church and para-church related ministries. Students are taught to gain insight from the historical roots and the contemporary characteristics of Christian education ministry within the church. We aim to train students to understand and relate sensitively to the needs of the congregation or local communities, a critical aspect of the field. Oral communication skills and support-level experiences are acquired by students to assist ministry leaders so that they have a familiarity with the field upon graduation.
Gain insight into the historical roots of Christian education ministry within the church, and acquire the oral communication skills needed to understand and relate to the needs of the church or para-church communities. Prepare yourself for full-time senior or associate pastoral leadership and ministry in the church or para-church organizations.
