It’s the kind of work that requires a variety of skills—from welding and blueprint reading to computer-aided drafting to name just a few. This program will train you in many aspects of industrial mechanics, industrial electrical, electronic, and computer controls. Upon graduation, you’ll have the knowledge and skills to install and maintain a wide range of equipment in modern industrial plants.
This program is a first step on the path towards Journeyperson Certification. Graduates of this program may be given transfer credit toward the Industrial Mechanic, Industrial Electrician, or Construction Electrician trade upon registration in the Provincial Apprenticeship Program. Graduates may find employment in many occupations related to the industrial, commercial, and construction trades such as industrial electrician, construction electrician, industrial mechanic/millwright, industrial sales, and plant maintenance. | | |
