Description | Manufacturing and industrial environments rely on two methods of machining – conventional hand-controlled methods and computer numerical control (CNC). With CNC, a computerized machine is programmed for very fine and detailed work and automation. This program will train you in both methods so that you can enter the job market qualified to work in the machining industries.
Graduates may find employment as machinists in manufacturing or processing plants, refineries, pulp and paper mills, mines, shipyards, and in private machine shops. | | |
